Any metal that is exposed to the environment will react….not just copper. The patina finish is a natural or living finish. Copper forms a protective patina. It does not corrode. Lanterns can be painted with heat resistant paint if you have to have a consistent look. However, copper is a naturally beautiful metal and looks antique on it’s own. Enjoy the natural beauty of the lantern!

Steel brackets are zinc primed and powder coated. Steel brackets have a one year warranty.

One year warranty on electronic ignition. No warranty on glass.

Electronic Ignition is available for the V Style gas lantern. It allows you to turn the lantern on and off with a light switch. If it blows out it will automatically re-light itself.

There are several options for mounting lanterns on columns. There are copper mounting boxes or copper collars. Copper Collars and Steel Collars slide onto column mount brackets. I can help you decide on the best option for your project. All lanterns are available in natural gas, propane or electric. They can also be used indoors. Electronic Ignition is an option for gas lanterns on poles or on top of columns. You must have both gas and electricity in order to have this feature.
